His passion for DIY projects and outdoor adventures mirrors the hands-on approach he brings to every fireplace installation and repair.

Back In 1983
Fresh from serving in the Marine Corps USMC in Washington DC, Reynaldo returned to Chicago to begin his next chapter, marking it with marriage and a new career path. His journey in the fireplace industry began as an installer and service technician at Alltypes Fireplace, where he would spend the next quarter-century honing his expertise and building lasting relationships with customers.
September 2008 marked a pivotal moment when Reynaldo transformed from apprentice to owner, purchasing the very company where he had dedicated 25 years of service. This achievement of the American Dream led to the birth of Greenforest Fireplace, bringing fresh vision and renewed energy to a trusted Chicago institution.
